Winter activities in Val Gardena

Val Gardena is an ideal location for activity holidays in winter and in summer, due to the favorable location within the Dolomites.

The Val Gardena valley is a top notch skiing area with ski slopes of all levels of difficulty:

• The skiing area Seceda is at the northern side of the valley within the Geisler group. It can be acccessed from Ortisei and S. Cristina.
• The skiing area of the Alpe Di Siusi is located at the southern side of the valley. It can be accessed from Ortisei.
• And the wide skiing area around the Sella group, including the the world cup slope Saslong, is situated at the end of the valley. Starting point for this skiing area is S. Cristina and Selva Gardena.

Val Gardena offers also great possibilities for cross country skiing or skating. Or you simply enjoy the beautiful panorama while walking or hiking in the winter landscape.

And if you want something different then you can go swimming at the indoor and outdoor pool Mar dolomit or relax at the sauna or spa area after skiing.
